Is It Possible to Lose Weight Without a Viable Weight Loss PlanAs to whether or not is possible for one to lose weight without having any weight loss plan, the answer is a plain NO. Typically, people lose weight for various reasons, but the major reason as to why many lose weight is because they are not pleased by how they look. Sadly though, this reason is such a fickle feeling and doesn’t give enough motivation to take on a weight loss plan and carry it to completion.

Overweight people can easily get through life fairly safe and sound if they can avoid situations that involve an athletic event or putting on a swimsuit. What justifies this is because many people today are fat hence everybody seems to fit in perfectly. It’s a fact that many people, if not all, use food as a source of elevating the moods in times of stress and stuff, and it sure does wonders.

This justifies the fact that the motivation of many people is their looks, and sadly, not their health. If however someone can take the time to understand how dangerous and risky obesity is, it should be reason enough to take weight loss seriously. It is a widely known fact that obesity is a killer, as it is associated with the three most dangerous conditions – diabetes, cancer, and heart disease (atherosclerotic). (more…)

What You Need to Know About Morbid ObesityMany people are fanatic when it comes to cooking and preparing for big Christmas get-togethers. This was very evident last yuletide season. Unfortunately, some of the all-time favorite dishes that we treat our family and guests to are so tasty, so rich but oh, so potentially dangerous to our health. We tend to allow ourselves to overindulge during Christmas or any big occasion. So while the going is still early, let us remind ourselves: careless food intake will likely lead to many number of danger zones, like obesity.

Obesity, a disease that results from the excessive accumulation of fat that exceeds the body’s skeletal and physical standards, is clearly emerging to be a growing health problem. More than the aesthetic reasons, it is important to understand the health implications of obesity, heart disease, arthritis, diabetes, stroke, high blood pressure, heartburn, urinary stress incontinence, and even cancers of the gall bladder, uterus, breast and colon, are just some of the diseases that may result from one’s being obese.
